Whether you’re burning natural, LP gas, or solid wood fuel the modern stoves are built to burn efficiently. Many styles and sizes are available.  Modern wood burning stoves may have as little as a 6″ clearance required behind the stove.  Gas burning stoves may have as little as a 2″ clearance and can be vented out an exterior wall and have no flue extend vertically.
