How do I clean my glass and what do I use:
Refer to the owner’s manual for each unit. Generally there are spring clips on top of the glass door and at the bottom of the glass door. The glass may either be on a L-bracket at the bottom of the glass or it could be hinged on the left side.
You are welcome to use water, however it is recommended to use a fireplace glass cleaner for either wood or gas depending on your unit to help protect the glass/ceramic from staining. The manufacturer recommends once a month.
Should I do maintenance on the fireplace:
We recommend that you have a qualified fireplace technician thoroughly check valve and gas related components, check gaskets for leaks as well as routine cleaning at least once a year.
