Last week JCS installed a Napoleon NZ26 Wood Burning fireplace from a customer we met at the Home Show. Today the mantel and stone were applied. The mantel is not a wood beam. It is a new Concrete beam which by using a concrete beam your clearances to combustion are not an issue.
